Our Approach
A gate is a moving machine that happens to sit at the edge of your property, and we build it that way. Every job starts with the opening itself: its width, the slope of the drive, where the power runs, and how people and cars actually use the entry. From there we design the gate, the frame and the operator as one system. Iron or steel, swing or slide, residential or commercial, the goal is the same: a gate that opens every time and closes safely.
Grade gets checked before anything else. The ground here carries 1,206 feet of local relief within a few miles, and it changes from one block to the next, so we grade and test each site on its own before work starts. A drive with a few degrees of fall changes how a swing gate clears the ground and how hard a slide operator has to work. We set posts and footings to suit what we find, run the wiring, handle the permit, then hang and tune the gate until the operation is smooth.
Most gate trouble traces back to shortcuts at installation: a post that shifts, a leaf that sags and drags, safety sensors mounted where they never see a car. The median home here was built in 1990. When an existing post or pillar is going to carry a motor, we check it before we trust it. Repair and maintenance get the same attention as new work: we adjust the travel, replace worn parts and test every safety stop. Call for a free estimate.
Serving Scottsdale and the Surrounding Area
Scottsdale is a city of 243,821 people, and we build and service electric gates for homes and businesses across it and the towns around it. The typical home here was built around 1990. That means many of the properties we walk onto already have a driveway, a block wall and a pair of columns that went in long before anyone planned for automation. It shapes the work. A new steel or iron gate has to fit what is already standing, hang true on it, and run its operator without straining the posts. Residential or commercial, we treat every job the same way, wherever it sits on the map.
The ground is the other thing we plan around. Maricopa County has real relief, 1,206 feet of it within a few miles, and it changes from one block to the next. A driveway that looks flat can fall enough to throw off a swing gate or bind a slide track. So before we set a post or pour a footing, we grade and test that site on its own. What we find decides the gate design, the operator, and where the safety sensors go. We handle the permit, then we build it. Call us for a free estimate.
